Might help if you told us the year and the engine

Also your budget

The top of the line is ECS

No problem. 67 383-4bbl budget? Free of course. I'm not sure what a resto exhaust would cost

I don't know anyone that does them for free.

ECS is the top of the line but the cost line probably scare the hell out of you.

Accurate is Mopar only.
Dale's Cuda Shop
Gardeners - I think that's what they are called.

I'd start with Accurate. I got head pipes from them and the rest from Dales.

Re: Exhaust suggestions - 05/16/16 04:19 PM

I went with Gardner, however...

The angle of the "cup" to the drivers manifold was off and leaked. Since the HEMI head pipe mount is that rounded "ball and cup" type joint, it still connected, but barely. I eventually removed the system, cut out a slight wedge, bent it into place and welded it into a better angle. I still had to use a hand made gasket and use some gasket sealer to stop the "tic-tic-tic...". Gardner claimed it was my use of repop manifolds. Maybe the leak was due to the repop but not the off angle. Other than that, very nice materials and construction. Looks very original.

Does ECS make the exhaust for that application? I checked their website and it only shown 68-70 B-Body options. True ECS is more costly, but the fit and look are exact.

Check out Don's Custom Exhaust for the head pipes.

I have used Don's head pipes on several vehicles and they do have all the correct flat spots, creases and indents patterned from using originals...excellent pipes and excellent fit.

What are you using for exhaust manifolds ? The 383 in 67 I do not think used the HP manifolds so they would be LOG manifolds with a 2" outlet and did that car even have the option of duals ?

John, I am using the stock exhaust manifolds. I am just replacing what was on there from the previous owner.

you may try http://www.waldronexhaust.com

I bought a kit for a 71 383 RR. Yet to install, but home to have it in within a few months.

If they don't have it listed, call them, because they have a book/print to bend by.

Full turndown kit was around $650 shipped.

There were duals on it when I bought it. Thinking about going with accurate. Price seems fair.
