'70 Plymouth GTX Stripes w/FJ5 Paint- Available Colors? - 02/02/09 09:24 PM

What were the available colors for the dual bodyside stripes on a '70 Plymouth GTX painted FJ5/Limelight? Black, white and gold only?

I'm assuming on this white car the stripes are gold and are factory, but it's hard to tell:

White was the only color recommended, but they didn't prevent you from ordering black or gold.

I took a look at that chart, but wasn't sure how to interpret the "W" nor "2/W" codes.

I did find a lot of other helpful info there, though, as always.

HT- nice GTX, but those hubcaps have got to go.

Any pics of the interior?

The beauty of the situation is that you can have both: the hood/dana combo AND wheels without those hubcaps!

All you need is a screwdriver..........

I think we should make a distinction between "recommended" and the "default" choice because it's obvious that black stripes goes with FJ5.

Gold? A different story, but it could be ordered. As rare as gold stripes are, I have a pic of a B7 car with gold stripes and it works quite nicely.
