I need 5 dash harnesses. Three 71 B-body and two E-body.. I guess M&H has these on back order for a long while... Any other suppliers out there?

Year One, but confirm they have them in stock if not all you are doing is wasting your time.

Megaparts has them listed also give them a call.

I thought YO were made by M and H. Everyone orders at the end of the year for the big discount so they get way behind. They need to step up there game if they are going to sell wiring harnesses.

"Supposedly" M&H wire harnesses are only suppose to be sold by Year One. So it makes me wonder who and what kind of a harness other vendors sells. Nothing against any of them because like many here, have purchased many parts from vendors. I do think M&H gets behind when Year One has any kind of substantial discount offered. I for one took advantage of their 30% off one time to purchase all available harnesses(my car) for the simple fact that I stated above.

Tried Roseville and Classic Industries already.

You might give Evans Wiring Harness a try. I have used them before with good luck. They only do Mopar.

I would use Evens as a last resort. There quality control isn't very good and they aren't very knowable. Check with Frank Badalson.

Evan's does not do complete under dash harnesses only sub systems like AC or Tach harness, M&H/yO is the only game in town, get on the list/in line, plus M&H is expanding their operations, so that has interfered in some production as well

Re: repo dash harnesses - 01/24/16 03:33 AM

Dave,

Just got an email saying my Duster dash harness just shipped. I ordered back in June 2015. UPS says it'll be here 1/27.

Same scenario for me. Needed a harness, took advantage of a 30% off coupon. Been waiting since and my resto has been sitting since, waiting for the dash harness. They kept pushing the date, first 8 weeks from when ordered, then mid-Oct, then Dec, then Feb. If I would have known upfront the real time frame, I would have repaired my existing harness...

Hopefully they'll get through this backlog and get them delivered in a more timely basis.

Same thing here for my 71 duster from YO. Got the main dash, headlight, engine all in a timely manor but the rear tail light set took at least 6 months but did show up and I did get several notifications it was still back ordered.

I don't think Evans makes Dash harnesses?

Re: repo dash harnesses - 02/02/16 09:25 AM

I ordered a 71 charger dash harness a ac harness. And. Tail light harness
From year one. The tail light showed up in a week. Still no dash or ac harness. Was fixing to order a light forward harness for 71 charger. I don't want to buy if it will be back order

Re: repo dash harnesses - 02/02/16 08:04 PM

You are lucky. I ordered an E body forward light harness and engine harness in Aug '15 and as of Dec '15 still had nothing.

I found some M&H harnesses through people that didn't use them for their project.

Guess I was lucky. Ordered dash harness from YO several months ago when on sale for our Challenger. Had it in a week. Still not installed yet. Next project on to do list,,,after finish installing PW's in wife's 55 T Bird. Miserable job by the way.

Back in the day, when I did glass for a living, seems like I did a late 50's early 60's T-bird door glass.. It kicked my rear.. Very unfriendly car to do glass in....
