I am looking at a 70 Road Runner at the moment that has V1W listed twice. Once where the vinyl top is supposed to be listed and again later on the tag. The car was built at the LA plant and other than one repaint in the early 90's, looks to be pretty much all original. Has anyone else ever seen this?

Yes, the LA plant did that. I have several example tags if you would like to see them. Just send me a PM if my email is not listed in my profile.

Only the LA plant did that putting the code in the roof color location (that everyone did) and then repeating it in the "stripe" code area.
I don't know what the "R" Canada plant did.
