My 70 RR grille has a previous repaint that is peeling a bit. I want to repaint it, but should remove the previous repaint first. What are some recommended options to remove this paint?

Heated pressure washer, 400 sand paper and water.

Anybody used a media blaster for this? The media I currently have access to is too rough I'm sure. Thoughts?

Rough media would be bad. the right paint has the roughness in it. The pressure washer is great, need to hold it down so it doesn't fly away when hitting it with the pressure.

blowing with compressed air may remove the paint also. you need to experiment to see what works best on it.

Even with a power sprayer you got to be careful with 45 year old plastic parts. I don't know what the best way would be. But I would probably start with something fairly gentle.
