I got two sets of mirrors with my Challenger project. One set has the small base for each mirror 'pod' and is clearly '70 vintage.
The other set is '71 and up - Longer stems and the pods are much bigger.
My question is, the drivers side '70 remote 'pod' isn't the exact same size/shape of the passenger side? Is this correct, is the passenger side on a '70 ebody a different shape? Looks 'longer' to me. I've had quite a few 70's but never really realized if there was a difference in each side until now. Or, do I have the wrong 'pod' for the passenger side? Looking at BE&A's on his site it looks longer and the same as mine. Same goes for Vans Auto.
