Difference in 1970 BB valve covers?

Hi, I bought two sets of 1970 valve covers. Or at least I was told they both are from 1970 engines.

Please check pic. I can found this difference. Are these both 1970 covers?

These are my OEM August '69 build date covers. I found the Passenger Side Harness Clips for sale at Mega Parts and will pick up 3 to tack weld to the Passenger Side Cover. They sell for about $5 each IIRC.

I have seen both styles too.....not sure when the change was made or if both styles were used for the entire year. Someone here will know more.
