Post Your 1964-1971 Hemi Block Casting Dates Here

There were several production variables over the Hemi production years 1964-1971 so it is important to check your blocks for these variables and to record not just the casting date, but the other era specific stampings as well.

The casting date will be located behind the starter motor and will look like a typical date; i.e. 6 17 66 = June 17th, 1966.

We can start with just the casting dates to get things going, I'll post further related requests later.

Pictures of your dates would be awesome but just the typed numbers will be fine as well.

Here's one to kick it off 5-26-69 from a 1970 Superbird

8 28 66 A complete engine that i had
8 19 68 A complete engine that i had
7 28 69 A NOS short block engine in the crate
1 19 70 The original engine in a 71 Hemi GTX

To make this a more useful list, it may be helpful to include the block assembly date and any stampings on the distributor pad.

There is a few Scott I would have to dig up more January 1970 block castings but they would fall into the Jan.19 to Jan27. All the 11-11-68 blocks were put into late 1971 Hemi Bodies. You don't care about anything cast after 1971 I hope.
