Passenger door mirror

Ive had three 72 Road Runners..First one had body painted mirrors on both doors..Second had chrome on both doors..My current car has a Chrome mirror only the drivers side...Even though it did not come that way ive considered adding the mirror to the passenger side...I really don't think it would offend the die hard numbers guys too much...It just looks like it needs that mirror...Would you do it or not?? Pro vs Cons??

In a minute. It's a must have to drive one of these. My 71 HemiCharger didn't have one and it was scary just backing it out of the garage.

I agree with the garage thing!! Plus I already have the mirror new in box I had for a different car..

Funny you mention this. I am going through this on a 71 RR. The car is being done to the sheet but it just looked "off balance" to me without the right side mirror. So it is getting that deviation from factory correct. 99% of the people would not know it did not come that way anyhow. On all my older B bodies I really miss that stupid mirror.

A right side mirror balances the cars appearance & should never hurt it's value. It would need to be a rare Hemi Car & a OCD buyer before
that would come into play.

Rare is a term interpreted differently by most..HA!!
My car is one of 219 made..72RR/GTX 440/4speed..25k orig miles..
But it will probably end up with that mirror...

I have the same dilemma D/S chrome only & want to add the p/side mirror & always wondered how it would be received, except I have a set of painted mirrors I bought @ mopars @ E.Town way back,they where on a set of doors & I offered the guy $50 for them & he said no,five minuts later he tracked me down with the mirrors in a bag.The plan was to paint them mat black to match the F&R spoilers/air grabber & louvers that didn't come on my car factory,maybe have the pedestals chromed to look like the old school calcustom ones.I think with the GW3 body it would look great & balance it all out.Sorry for the long story just had to get that out.
