8 3/4 gear tag

I am getting ready to reassemble my carrier to the housing. I failed to photograph or take note of where this axle ratio tag was located. Under which nut is the tag attached? A picture would be great if available.

Gear tag location on my 1970 Duster 340.

Could the location of the tag be random as my 71 challenger has tha tag in the 10 o'clock position when facing the pinion nut? The center section appears to be originally installed.
