I need the paint formula, code or whatever it's called for B5 in Omni. I've looked at so many different B5 colors I'm cross eyed. Car is a 68 Sport Satellite convertible. Thanks in advance!

It is not that simple. B5 code was used several years with different shades depending on year. First thing you need to decide is which year B5 you want (no B5 for '68 cars, '69 was first year B5 code used).

If you do a search here you will find many previous threads regarding B5 and mixing codes.

Here are 3 of them;

Plymouth's "electric blue metallic" was paint code "Q" (QQ1) for '68.

in my experience, getting Omni is a sure way to have the color be wrong. Why don't you want a better quality paint?

Thanks everyone! You are correct in that the 68 color is QQ1 which is really what I'm looking for. Sorry I wasn't clear. The reason for Omni is the budget. I'll keep looking. I guess there will be some trial and error. Thanks again!

Look in to Pro-Spray or even Wanda. Decent paints and won't break the bank.
