G30 code Delete Mirrors. What mirrors are referred to in the deletion. Door outside mirrors? Could the inside rear view mirror ever get deleted? Is that a different code.

G35 code Delete standard outside mirror. What is the differences in this Codes and G30 Code.

Would these codes make it to the fender tag or just the build sheet.

I am referring to only the 1971 E Body build.

hemicar1971,

I have never seen those codes on any 1971 E-Body Data Plate. I don't recall ever seeking those on a Broadcast sheet either.

I will do some research when I get back to Miami. Currently on the road going to do hurricane relief flight in and out of Cabo.

There are other codes I have wondered about. How the line worker would know how Chrysler would tell them to change the build. Things like optional rear ends or putting a HD transmission in a car that did not receive one. Did the Heater delete go on the Fender Tag or Broadcast sheet or both. I might have a fender tag or broadcast sheet copy around to take a look at but did the Heater delete make it on either copy. Things like an optional rear end, did it end up on the broad cast sheet and the fender tag and if it made it on to the fender tag was the standard option deleted or left blank.

If people in the know would like to keep this off the internet just email me on moparts with an answer from all your information. Just started to wonder about the builds and how Chrysler put out the information to the workers on what did or did not go on these 1971 E Bodies.

Heater delete is noted on 1970 Hamtramck broadcast sheets.

A special order engine for 1970 would be on the fender tag & broadcast sheet as the 5th VIN digit of Z.

For 1969 Lynch Road A12 cars, the special order engine, transmission & rear end were all noted with 9 codes.

Special order interiors for 1970 were 9999.

Special order tires for 1970 were T99

I am sure there are other examples.

I have not seen mirror delete codes on any E-bodies either.

I'd guess any STANDARD mirrors (for the US/CANADA) that were DELETED would be for EXPORT cars going to places where they were NOT required by the local vehicle laws.

Didn't someone stumble across an EXPORT Challenger broadcast sheet a few years ago that had some type of seatbelt "DELETE" code (C04) or text on it?

There is a '70 'Cuda out there with a "9999" interior code, it's a white 440 car with the Gran Coupe black/white hound's-tooth red piping interior in it.

Dan, I was just trying to find the pictures of that.
I have to stop looking now. Time to go to work.

Can you post for me?

I can't find any pics of the 9999 interior'd 'Cuda, but ran across a note about a FC7 '70 383 R/T SE Challenger (205372) with a 9999 interior code. Wonder if it's a bench seat R/T that I keep hearing about , but have seen NO proof.

IIRC there a '66 Newport convertible with a 999 interior code & it has a New Yorker ONLY green leather interior in it.

I've got them on my home pc. I'll post them this wekend if someone doesn't beat me to it. It was the P5X9 interior that later became available across the line if I remember correctly.

Is this the one you are talking about? It had a special sheet to tell them how to do the interior. I don't think I saved a copy of the build sheet or the special instructions.

Trim and paint codes seem to be covered by a special order numbers that make it to the FT. 999

Has anyone seem a G30 Code on a broadcast sheet or fender tag. This is the Delete Mirrors code. Then there are axle codes that are not A codes, do these A codes get eliminated off the FT and BCS. The H25 Heater Delete code you would thing might make it to the FT and would make it to the broad cast sheet.

Re: Delete Options - 09/22/14 02:50 AM

This 1970 E-Body Special Order interior car with code 9999, might be the same in 1971?
I do not have a picture of the Data Plate to see what the interior code would be. 9999 or P5X9?

Again, I have not seen a G30 code or even a 9999 interior code in 1971.

Note: SPD A06 with a delivery requirements date of 10-9-69 and the Approx. Sched. Date being blank.

Note: The VON is J11001 with Y39 on Broadcast sheet

Thanks Ola, I couldn't find the pics but I belive that the interior code on the tag was 9999 which is how I first noticed it. I contacted Galen about it at the time and he had never seen a 9999 interior code before that.
