T3, T7 Interior 1969 Road Runner - 08/29/14 07:49 PM

Hello Folks!

I am working on a 69 Road Runner that has a T3 exterior and a T3/T7 interior, bucket seats and console. The fender tag reads:
T3 T3 M6T T7 My problem is that I am not 100% sure what should be T3 and what should be T7 on the interior. The metal parts like the dash, upper door panels, and headliner trim had been taken to metal and repainted a dark bronze, as well as the new dash pad and the dash face padding and glove box door. I can see where the paint lifted that the color under is saddle like the seats and carpet.

So could the dash be T7 and the pad and glove box door be Saddle? Also would the rear window trim be T3 or T7? The inside of the post, T3 or T7? That is just a start but I have been looking for a good reference and have not had any luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Carl

our 69 GTX vert is T3 Honey Bronze with the T7 Dark Bronze interior paint and tan / saddle upholstery. This is what it should look like. Link is to a resto thread I did on Dad's unmolested GTX.

Only the upper and lower doors are T7, T3 was not used as an interior color. The dash gets a different suede paint codes .

Thanks so much for the great pictures, your cars are fantastic and remind me why I bought the Road Runner in the first place: the greatest interior by Mopar!

If you still have the paint codes you used on the dash and pads, it sure would be great. I can see that the headliner trim is T7 and the rest if saddle like the console.

Thanks,
Carl
