I am curious if anyone has knowledge/experience with CCR - I spoke with a representative at Carlisle and am curious if any members had any input - they seem like a professional outfit - TIA

I've restored a couple carbs for them, so far so good.

Walt and his crew painted my Road Runner almost 7 years ago. Awesome job! Very clean and well organized shop facilities.

Clark Classic gets my vote. Had my '68 charger painted there last year and am very happy with their work. I was billed every month and had invoices detailing labor and materials. Also was sent an album of pictures with the bill. Car came out great. Walt and his crew will treat you right.

They use our gaskets so they MUST do a quality job.

thank you 68jim and 469runner - I got good a good feeling from Walt after speaking to him at Carlisle and after looking at their website, just have to make sure on the $ and be able to pull the trigger...good part is that I've already done alot of work...carbs/Harms, heater box 71TA, gauge cluster Instrument Specialties, rimblow Doug Lepak amongst other things - thanks

Any resto shop that doesn't have it's own TV show and have their workers running around acting like fools is OK with me.

Saw their work at the Nats around 8 yrs ago. Looked fine to me.

What's the hourly labor rate in NC,,,100 to 120 is the rate here in Silicon Valley Calyfornua. However 2,000 Sq foot condos can cost you a million bucks and up too.

And some shops can do correctly in 1 hour what others will do poorly in 5,,,so hourly rates are a very rough gauge.

What really comes down to is what the total restoration might cost in NC verses anywhere else,,bur again hourly is a rough gauge.
