Don't really need one, loosen the lca about 3/4, pry between the lca and kframe, it'll pop it right out.

As Daty has eluded to, the tool isn't a necessity. I have done a lot of these in the garage. After you release all the torque applied to the bars but the adjuster in the LCA, it'll be ready to remove. Of course, the rear clip will need to be removed. I usually just separate the LCA/ball joint from the spindle via the two attach bolts. Then remove the 15/16" nut on the front of the LCA pin. I usually take a piece of wood and place it against the leading edge of the LCA and use a 5lb hammer. I don't whack it. I just use the momentum from the weight of the hammer and it is usually enough to push the LCA/torsion bar rearward. Done.....

All T-bars aren't created equal. On my 69 Roadrunner I had all the suspension out of the car except for the passenger T-bar. It would not budge. The car had rust issues so I'm thinking that didn't help. Anyway I had to beat the he!! out of it with a sledge hammer to get it out. Driver side came on out. American Muscle, and someone said there are some on ebay and at Mancini's.

For the really stubborn ones I have always used a couple of 1" rope clamps clamped side by side.

Cheap and effective.

Sooner or later, you are going to run into some stubborn torsion bars in their removal, if you do enough of them.
Then that removal tool is indespensable, and you would wish you had one.
But for me, prying between the crossmember, and the LCA, with a big bry bar, works 90% of the time.
