1971 GTX rocker moldings - 02/24/14 11:40 PM

Would anyone happen to have some close ups of a nice set of GTX rocker moldings? Mine were painted black and all of the details (if any) have been lost.

It should be noted that 71 GTX rocker mouldings have several screw holes along the length of each moulding. 70 Barracuda Gran Coupe rocker mouldings have one screw hole at the front and back of each moulding. I believe there is also a slight difference in length. Could you post additional pictures of the GTX mouldings to show this please?

There is a difference as the B-body ones are longer for sure.

Thanks Eric for those pics. Is that dull aluminum paint or argent? I guess that they need to be re-anodized first?

James
Unfortunately I'm not sure. I do not have any of those moldings here. Those are detail photos I've taken over the years of survivor GTXs.

FYI...Metro Parts is coming out with repro 71 GTX rocker moulding shortly...so if you have warped/beat up/broken originals you might want to wait?...

Mine are in good shape, other than having been painted. Good thing, as I haven't been too happy with Metro's service or quality before (actually, still have on going issues with them).
