Rim-blow wheel restoration - 12/10/13 02:16 AM

Does anyone out there have experience with where to get the best rim-blow steering wheel restoration done, or are any of the reproduction wheels up to standard? This is for a 1970 Challenger. I need the proper 1970 Challenger "DODGE" center while I am at it.

Thanks

I got my rimblow steering wheel from Mike Mordarski,(1970_EK2AAR on moparts). Very good/proffesional guy.

I will second Doug Lepak - my rimblow came out unbelievable. After researching and seeing other rims restored by some other vendor's I settled on having Doug do mine - he kept me updated during the process and answered all my questions - I was and am very happy with the results.

his work is amazing. truely an artist, and i believe he mentioned to me a few years ago that he has a source for correctly replating the satin chrome finish.

Mike does excellent work, and his rates are very reasonable. He's also a great guy to do business with.

pretty sure there was a thread on the horn not working with the repro wheels - don't know if it was addressed - doubt it - "get it out and worry about it later" mentality...

I forgot to mention the rimblow wheel I had for my Challenger was absolutely awesome & was from Dave (Plumbeeper). Christmas gift from
my bro & looked as original as any I've seen. I wouldn't hesitate to get
another wheel from him.
