71 challenger R/T headlight bezel

I was wondering if some one could tell me what is the proper paint I should use for my headlight bezels, tail light panel, tail light finish panel, trunk lid trim and shaker bubble, im assuming they all get the same satin black color correct me if im wrong.
car is going to be a GB7 blue 71 R/T challenger W/ black shaker. Thanks Bryan

The rear of the car and the shaker bubble are in organasol black. It's a textured black.

The rear finish panel is also in organasol black and silver. The RT panel is not painted the same as the non RT panel. Common mistake is to follow the same pattern.

The headlamp buckets and hood trim are like a satin black and have vinyl tape hiding the paint line.

The rear trim is satin black.

ok thanks I knew something got organosol just didn't know what, and yes I know about the difference in the finish panel, silver is only supposed to be in the taillight area. also do you know where to get the vinyl tape on the bezel I remember seeing a link for a decal but don't know where it was

As for the grille, the black sections are actually the natural plastic. If you are patient, you can carefully remove the textured argent from a non-R/T grille and wet sand/polish the black plastic to an original finish.

Otherwise, use a nice satin black trim paint such as SEM or Mar-Hyde for both the grille and headlight bezels.

Note: on the R/T bezels, the black paint should cover all the way to the pinstripe, there should not be a shiny strip visible.

You can buy the vinyl fine line tape at any auto paint supply.

Here's an example of what not to do on the headlight bezels - one should not see the polished section between the pinstripe and the rest of the bezel.

Many of the replacement bezels were painted in this fashion and didn't have the pinstripe.

The rest of the grille detail is correct. IIRC I used Mar-Hyde for the black on this one. Organosol on the front bumper....

I got lucky and when my dad got the car for me as an early high school graduation present april of 2012 the guy had an original R/T grille that came with the car, I cleaned it up and it looks new but I do have 2 argent grilles one is perfect and the one that was on the car has big piece missing from it
