Can't speak to UR, but JD workmanship is pretty dang good. I did have a bad experience with the way they shipped the finished product that had me reboxing and returning the item twice. While UPS certainly helped them along with careless handling, had the shipping container been better the issue could have been avoided.
In their defense, they worked through the issue and my dash looks great

I would not recommend Superior - Carolina Dash. Long story short, I sent my dash out in a well packed box that could have been safely dropped out of an airplane and got the new dash back just loosely put in a box wrapped in plastic, not even bubble wrap. When I went to discuss the other issues, the husband lost all professionalism and swore and screamed on the phone. My car is not a concourse car and was willing to work with them and they said I was trying to scam them. Funny, when I was the one who paid them in advance in full.

Not to totally steal the thread, but I have a mint original 70 Challenger and a mint original 71-74 E-body pad. I'd trade either for a equal condition original 70 Cuda, black non-air pad.

I have na UR on my challenger. Fits ok, not perfect. this is the original grain and color (under vin) Same dash returned from UR Had some troubles with blind holes and others fitment issues. UR is great for a driver car, not for a show car.

That's not molded in color is it ??? I'll ASSuME it's dyed but then why not attempt to match what was sent in ??? Defeats the purpose of having it sent there just to have the original color sample ignored and painted whatever was in the gun at the time..

Ultimate Rides service is the worst in the world! I had to wait a year on a prepaid dashpad and only heard excuses and empty promises. No one ever answers the phone also. Beware!

do not even consider buying one from UR unless you just need drama in your life. UR and their ability to take your deposit and never get you your dashpad has been a topic here for many years. in the last month alone, I have talked to two mopar guys who have sent deposits and never rec'd anything, no return calls, nothing. I bought a cuda a few years ago that had a UR dash in it. the quality and fit was terrible. Just dashes is a good company and you will receive a nice product, you can call and talk to them and they act like a real company. I have bought probably six dashes from Just dashes in the last ten years and found their quality to be very good.
