On what model/engine is a negative battery cable with p #2983779 used on?

Perhaps others also, but that # was used at least on G-series (1971) E-bodies with B/RB engines. FWIW, that p/n was not listed for any applications in 1970 B- or E-bodies, or 1969 B-bodies.
