do you have a buildsheet? Probably a Group 24 Yellow cap, but my 71 340 is coded for a Group 27 red cap. Only the BS will tell.

my 71 340 roadrunner was coded for a green top group 24.. spd of mid march.

The STANDARD '71 340 battery would be the Group 24, OPTIONAL & rare (less than 5%) would be the Group 27. B'cast sheet/window sticker would indicate what is correct for a specific car.
