Door panel light bulb - 07/15/13 03:21 AM

Does anyone know what light bulb is used on the rear door panel of a 1971 Challenger convertible. I cannot find it in the service manual.
It is the interior courtesy light.

Don't know about the convertible but the manual lists a #1445 for the Challenger...

Probably the same, I'll check it out. Should have 2 contacts on
the bottom.

I bought a #90 yesterday at O'Reilly Auto Parts and it has 2 contacts. I have not tried it out yet. I'll let you know if it works.

I took out the 71 Chrysler factory parts manual and they list the following bulbs by function for the Cuda/Challenger:
1. Door and Pocket Panel Reading #90
2. Ashtray #1445
3. Map and Courtesy #89

No listing by convertible only.

Just my $0.02...
