Crush Can Turn Signal Cancel Lever

Would anyone have anything that says what direction the heavy wire snap ring on the back of the crush can is suppose to face to properly cancel the turn signal?

I don't have a photo, but looking at the copper ring from the backside, the wire routes thru one of the holes and the "cancel tab" is positioned directly across (180) from it.

Looks like it is at 3:00 from the flat spot. I set mine at 9:00 which would be why it isn't working right, will change it tonight.

Just wanted to update that after turning the spring clip to the correct position the turn signal cancels perfect now, one more problem sovled.
