69 Roadrunner trunk photo - 02/26/13 04:44 PM

Guys: can anybody post a photo of the inside trunk area for a 69 Roadrunner? I am interested in the location of the vent tube in the very back; there are several holes and I forgot to take a picture before removing the tube. Thank you.

The Vent Tube Does Not Come Through The Trunk Floor, It Has 1 Clip On The Rear Shock Crossmember And Hangs There. Hope This Helps.

Belv, actually there are two vent tubes the one you're talking about is the small one. There is a longer one that does go through the trunk holes at two different spots. Don't know how to post a pic on this website. PM me your email and I'll send you a pic.

Really? If so, they changed it for 1970 as they definitely have the vent tube penetrating the trunk floor.

Maybe it has to do with 383 vs 426 or Lynch Road vs St. Louis vs LA????

I don't know just a guess ???????

They all have the tube 6 banger to Hemi. Yes it goes through the floor in trunk in 2 places. One to attach to tank the other goes through and clips on shock support. The pic of the Coronet trunk floor is correct

it is most likely because someone was LAZY
when replacing the trunk floor and they didn't reinstall it.

Eagleone 1983: thank you for your offer, but, as you can see, I already got the right picture from several folks. Thanks to everybody for your replies.

....so is it safe to say that all '68 - '70 B bodies had that vent; ie. any that do not have had the trunk floor replaced? or do some of you that have a car without the vent think your trunk floor is original?

Thanks Mike. To be clear, I KNOW that all of the original trunk floors that I've seen have had the vent, I am interested in hearing (and seeing pics) from anyone that does NOT have the vent and believes their trunk floor is original.

Every one left the factory with it. Every factory. Every engine combination. But 48 years have passed and many have been removed. But every 60 70 B Body was built with it.

That picture looks just like one I took on Maui driving the Road to Hana! Any chance it is?

That is a digital picture frame that contains build pics of the car when I go to shows. It may be, the photo was stored in the memory on the frame when I bought it.
