When I restoed my B7 cuda in 1994 I gave it to someone in Carlisle. Did a great job. Needs to be redone. Climbed in with a scredriver in my pocket. Now you know the rest of the story.

If you are comfortable dealing across the border, the it would be Doug Lepak http://www.stwheelz.com/

I used Steering Wheels by Mike http://www.steeringwheelsbymike.com/

Turned out pretty good - not a perfect match to the original, but was very good quality restoration.

Did you sit on the steering wheel?

Re: Steering wheel resto? - 01/18/13 09:14 PM

I would have done less damage if I had sat on it. Being a little taller than most folks I got in butt first then swung long legs in. Tip of screwdriver was sticking up out of right rear pocket. So now you know it all.

Thanks to everyone. I have contacted Plum Beeper. Again thanks all.

Doug Lepak I have known Doug for quite some time and have seen alot of his wheels and have seen other wheels done by other guys that Doug has redone...I would go with Doug for sure. His stuff is a work of art.

Update on my steering wheel resto.

Just got a E-mail from David Tays (mopar name PLUMBEEPER).

My RimBlow is done and the pics he sent me are out of this world.

He found the core and did the resto in about 10 weeks time.

I could not be happier

This is not cheap but you get what you pay for.

A big thank you to PLUMBEEPER

No fear with this vendor. AWESOME!!!!!!!!

RHINOTRUCK-- Just get a 70 Cuda and one of these can be yours.

Instead of a A-Body's joystick.

I have one of these on my Charger as well. Very nice. Way nicer than the repop units.
