OEM Spark Plug Number - Big Block - 11/20/08 02:50 AM
Does anyone have the Mopar part number for 440 spark plugs? I know they were probably made by Champion (J11Y), but what was the factory equivalent? Thx in advance,KK

1968:
J-11Y 2642913
J-13Y 2642475
J-14Y 2444870
1970:
Same numbers for Champion plugs, but they also had Chrysler brand spark plugs. Let me know if you want those part numbers.

Bob and Snoop,thank you.
The 34P also confirmed my question about application. As to who made their plugs? I had always heard that it was Champion.

So, what did FACTORY installed plugs have for markings?

My Dad said the OEM Champions that were in our '70 383 Road Runner had green marking on them.
Champion was the OEM supplier for the Mopar plugs.I have a few boxes of the Mopar plugs and they have P-34P for a part number on the box.

The P-34P Mopar plugs are the equivalent of the J-11Y's and work fine. The factory OEM plugs are definitely as previously stated, J-11-Y for all the 383 and 440HP's
