Does anyone in the USA make windshields for Mopars? I had a pos chinease one installed in my gtx and it is not thick enough to make the gasket seal on the front of the glass..........so frustrating!

Local glass shops will probably only be able to get tinted glass.

Not that I know of. ECS, AMD are all DOT686 Taiwan.

If it's not asking too much, if someone has an original windshield from the 1968-70's, please measure the thickness of the glass with a micrometer and post the figure.

I have the original windshield out of my '69 Coronet now and it
measures .278".

Just had a new PPG brand installed in my 68 GTX,sticker said made in Mexico and was the same thickness as the factory one.
