which is the correct one for a 69 roadruuner. the shorter one is 1 3/4" tall and a little wider than the taller one. the taller one is 2 1/8" tall.

OK the story is the taller ones are the only ones for 69 RR bench seat H2 interior cars according to some Very Respected Resto guys.
I have seen survivor cars with ALL original interiors with both designs.
I have an all original interior 69 satellite and it has the small ones. Early build date.
Most A12 RR's should have the tall skinny ones, or later built cars also.
I am not sure if the assembly plants come into this equation on what medallions are used either.

You will have to decide yourself on which is CORRECT for your car.
pm me if you need more info as I have just gone thru this myself.

O.K., now figure this out. my back seat had ones like the short ones. my front bench seat had 2 long ones on one side and 2 short ones on the other side. i could tell while i was removing the front cover that it was the original seat cover. possibly a factory goof ? since i have 6 short and 2 long , i need to find someone to trade my 2 long ones for 2 short ones.

All 68's have the taller ones, the few 69's I have owned had the short ones.

On my 68 I didnt have my original front seat but my original rear seat (verified with broadcast sheet still in it) had the long ones.
