Does any one know the measurements to place the Pentastar on the right lower fender for a 68 Charger? The old fender was was removed and did not have the original holes in it for some reason and I want the resto to be as accurate as possible. My service manual does not give any measurements for the location either. Thanks

Here are pics of the location of the pentastar on my '68 Charger. The first pic, I am measuring from left lip of fender to the right.

I got to thinking..........if you don't have a lower aluminum strip, you can't measure up from the strip then. If so, I could measure up from bottom of fender. Let me know. Joe

Just for whatever it may be worth......
I measured three original 1970 Challenger fender pentastar locations once. They varied quite a bit, but all were within an inch up & down & side to side.
Also, some replacement fenders were not punched for the emblems.
