RP23N1 Sebring Plus 1971 How Rare 4 Speed Sassy Green - 05/12/12 02:39 AM

Was looking at this car today, it is a Sebring Plus with a 4 speed, 383 and in Sassy Grass Green. Looks like it would have been a cool car when new. Any idea's how rare this car might be?

thanks

I've never seen one so total production #'s rare or not, there aren't many left!

Sebring Plus hardtop coupe-16,253...

I don't believe I have ever seen a '71 4-speed SSP in Sassy...

That's a rare one...

There was/is a RP23N1 Sebring Plus, EV2 Hemi Orange, auto console front rubber bumper car around So Cal.

IIRC, original paint, nice original interior.

Total FJ6 production across the entire Satellite line was 1.4% or 1965 cars.

I know in Galen's book there's no breakdown by engine for the SSP or any Satellite other than RR and GTX. That car has gotta be rare as hell.

A 1970 Satellite in Limelight (Sublime) or Sassy Grass, or a 1971 Satellite in Sassy Grass?

Dont mean to steal this thread but what is a 72 SSP 400, not sure of trans yet. Its blue in color and has a 3/4 Vinyl roof, All original, been in storage for well over 20 years worth today? Body is clean, has rallies, Interior is moldy/smelly from sitting but im sure it would clean up well. Thanks all...Phill

GG's "white book" shows RP23_1 = 10,700 Total (US, CANADA & EXPORT) * Where's the 16K+ figure from?

There was a sassy grass 71 GTX in the yards around here about 15 years ago, long gone now. It was rough, don't recall what trans it had. Wish I had grabbed it.

There was a sassy grass green 71 Satellite for sale near Pottsville, PA about ten years ago. A real rust bucket. Probably been parted out by somebody by now.

Awh: That colour doesn't look good on these cars at all.
