Unusual Forms of Documentation of a Car's History... - 02/19/12 03:40 PM

In addition to documentation like title copies & registration receipts, documentation of a car's history can come in many forms. For example, below is a scan of the rejection of warranty transfer to the second owner on my `Cuda 440-6. In addition to being interesting by itself, it shows the original delivery date.

Post any unusual forms of documentation you have come across...

Looks like the `Cuda had a rough tour of duty in Germany... inspection report prior to shipment back to U.S. Seven gauges attached to the motor?!?!?

Hi Allen,

here we go:

estimate of costs (Kostenvoranschlag)

first block:
Rubbermolding on left door, armpad on right door, Hood Pins, center grill piece, straightening left rear quarter
work and material

second block:
left reat Quarter prepairing for paint and painting it in original colour
work and material

Hope that helps. It seems to have had several small flaws. If they happened on the transport over the pond they might have been from bolting it firm with safty harnesses.
