Exterior color rarely if ever made a difference on the STANDARD equipment of a car. Does anyone know of an example where it did?
'68 Chargers had organisol inside the chrome on the tail panel regardless of body color.
'70 'Cuda tail panel paint is black regardless of body color.
'70 AAR & T/A stripes are black regardless of body color.
'71 Super Bee and Charger R/T & '72 Charger Rallye stripes are black regardless of body color.
All OPTIONAL performance hood treatments are black regardless of body color.
OPTIONAL '70 'Cuda "hockey stripes" are black regardless of body color.
The only example I can think of where a STANDARD part would be modified based on color is a "rallye red" SHAKER bubble on a '70 HEMI 'Cuda. & If you can find any hard and accurate rules on when & where that happened - I'll tip my hat to you.
