What type of 'Sure-grip' is this?? - 10/14/11 01:12 AM

Guy's here's a picture of a 742 case I just pulled from my 71 Satellite.

The previous owner said it has 4:10's with a sure grip but have alook.

I can't see any springs, clutches or cones.....and it sure isn't a one wheelie peelie.
Any ideas?

Taht is the dana Corp. clutch type posi with a set of Richmond gears added onto it BTW, that posi is rebuildable, DR DIFF,Cass, ahs all the parts to rebuild it, if and when it is needed You have to take them apart to get to and see the clutches and drive paltes, side gears and so on

Many Thanks for the info my Mopar brothers!
I was told some time ago that you couldn't really see the clutches on that type of Sure-Grip unit & there's a difference on the way the unit is bolted to the ring gear support - on a cone style the bolts come in from the ring gear side - on a clutch style they come in the opposite direction.
Thanks again!
