318 just bogs out when I hit the gas

Ive tried about everything I can thik of new tune up rebuilt carb and set timing, I need some back yard tips ongetting this to run right, please!! Thanks

need way more info, is it stock 2 bbl, did you modify it? timing should be 8 10 initial with 35 total or so, and the accelerator pump needs to sqirt gas the instant you touch the gas pedal (maybe even a hair before you touch the pedal LOL)

Check for a vacuum leak.

please, some more info. what car is it in? what manifold and carb set up are you running? where's the timing set? what gearing are you running?
