Best trans fluid for 727 w/ mild shift kit?

Dexron? Type F? Regular ATF? +4?

1979 LRT w/ 727 auto and a "mild" shift kit.

Really have no clue...with these older mopars I've always had 833's

Looks like most have said b4 that they use Type "F".but just remember over time its been said that it will shorten the life of ur tranny.

Ever since I put a B&M shift-kit into my trans (was a 904 at that time) I switched to running Type-F. I have always used Type-F in my Mopar non-lockup applications, never had a problem. I find that it feels like a sharper/crispier shift as compared to a Dexron.
