Wheels are polished and trying not to scratch them removing the stick on weights. When I pull the weights the adhesive backing stays on the wheel. Whats best to strip it without any scratching?

Next Dimension brand "Brake and Parts cleaner"
in an aerosol can. It's fast drying, does not leave a residue, and is the only thing we use at our shop.
Our location in particular gets to work on numerous high dollar cars. All of these cars get tape on style weights.
DO NOT USE LACQUER THINNER !!!!!!
it will damage your tires.

WD-40 and a soft rag and some rubbing gets rid of left over "stick-um".
