Want to install 5.7 Hemi in 64 Ford F-100 pick up.

I have a 1964 F-100 Custom Cab pick up truck that belonged to my Dad. Been in the family since new and in a barn for the past 25 years, Alabama truck and NO rust. It is a 6 cylinder with 3 on the tree. Would it be possible to put the cab and bed on a Dakota frame and install a 5.7 hemi with 5 speed automatic? Similar to what they are doing on power block TV by using a Dodge frame and running gear and installing a Ford 4 door cab and dually type bed. This way I can preserve my Dad's truck and have a reliable cruiser. This would be one cool MoFo. Advise please.

Sure it is possible, it will just take a fair bit of work. You could just put the hemi into the stock (reinforced)ford frame

Have any idea on who would supply updated suspension, brakes, etc to make the conversion?
