XV Radiator. Anyone try them yet?

Anyone try their system yet. My only concern is the higher speed flaps sections seem small. I will be running a 6.1 crate, w/air cond. in the '71 RR.

No, but judging from the pictures, there may be a few issues...

1) The passenger side mount looks like it might require some trimming on the frame rail tabs, since it looks like the mount edge is flush with the end caps of the radiator.

2) The radiator overflow bottle will almost certainly interfere with the washer bottle reservoir, necessitating relocation/replacement of the washer bottle.

3) For non-late hemi engines, the water pump housing will need to be passenger-side outlet.

4) That price even makes TTI headers look cheap!

I've been looking into radiators too for mine...was thinking about a dual pass alloy one like that too...think you could put something together for far less cost...Just assuming you don't mind making some brackets and what not?
XV is sure not shy about thier pricing though

We have made copper/brass radiators for the 6.1l Hemi's for Dayclona and Keisler and they have had good results. I guess it's just about how you want it to look. (a/l vs c/u) They can also be made for less than the a/l ones. Unless you want part #'s on the top tank.

Give US Radiator down in the high deserts of Southern California a call. They built me a radiator & shroud/electric fan combo for a very reasonable price. The design was based on my horsepower & application etc. It looks almost original, but it is thicker and cools way better.
