Any source for the rubber insulators for the pitman arm and the idler arm? Checked out pst, just suspension, and moog they have the whole assembly but no rubber washers sold individually.

Check energy suspension.

Yeah, they fit between the idler arm and drag link and between the pitman arm and drag link.

That's what I was wondering too.

Auto Zone sells the lip type in Silicone from Energy suspension or plain rubber lip seals in the help section. The balloon type I don't know of anyone that sells those.

They are the grease boots and are flat not balooned. picture attached

Those are just foam rubber washers. If you can find grease resistant foam you can make them but you can use the lip seals in place of them with no problems. They just keep the water and dirt out.

I like the ballon seals better but we get what we get.

Is that a factory picture you attached ? I have only seen that type with an aftermarket moog idler arm and not on a pitman arm. Chrysler also sells the boots separately , but I don't think they are like those in the picture you attached.

The pic is from the moog site. The old ones on my car look like that.

I've always had the felt "washer" but I wouldn't hesitate to put a parts store rubber boot in there instead... assuming its not a concours resto.

I will try the part stores to see but they do not seem to be able to find jack if it is not on the computer if you get my meaning. The days of walking in the auto parts store with an old part and the guy knowing what will work are gone. But, it never hurts to try.

Look in the "help" section or ask for tie rod boots.
