Challenger front sway bar control arm brackets? - 11/03/10 01:40 AM

Anyone make /sell the brackets that weld to the control arms on a 70 Challenger. My car not originally equipped with a front bar. Also has anyone mounted the front bar below the k frame instead of through the k frame. I have had my k frame modified and there is no longer a pathway through there.
I have been using one that mounts to the front of the k frame. Not sure what car it came off of ( 69 B?)
In the picture , the smaller one is a Hellwig 1-1/4" tubular and the larger one is a 1-1/8" solid one.

Firm Feel can take care of you. I don't think I'd go below the K frame. Out front is good or do some more mods to your K and put it inside. Firm Feel can build you a custom K with a trick anti-sway bar if you're interested in that option.

I spoke with Dick at Firm Feel just 2 weeks ago due to problems with my Chally K-frame.

Regretably, they have greatly scaled back their operations and no longer weld/repair K-frames. They will sell you a kit of parts to assist you in repairing and reinforcing your own K-frame.

For now, they are out of the fab business. Maybe some day they'll be back.
