Driveshaft Loop - 07/19/10 09:56 PM
I'll post in this section first.. Does anyone make a bolt in D.S. loop that will fit a 68 GTX with TTI 3" full exhaust? Mancini say's the one they sell will not fit. Any suggestion?? As always, appreciate your input. Thanks

To better clarify, I'm referring to the drive shaft loops that bolt to the tailshaft cross member support.

The type of DS loop that attaches ONLY to the trans cross-member ....I myself would not use it.
I have seen one - and heard of another TWO - NOT contain a DS when the front U-joint failed.
Use a simple 30$ one that BOLTS into the floor.

I have the U.S. Car Tool bolt onto the crossmember driveshaft loop on my 69 road runner.
Yes,I have 3in. dual exhaust.
Fits fine with zero problems.

Don't know if this will clear the exhaust but it is a bolt it.
