I'm running an Eagle cast crank in my 318 stroker and beat on it mercilessly with no problems, going on 3 years.

i used the ohio crankshaft cast 4" stroke crank in my 340 stroker,a nice crank, sizes were on the money, mine needed 3 slugs of mallory to internal balance,i used scat i-beams rods and diamond dish forged pistons.mike

What is your expected horsepower output? If it's under 450 (which is easy to reach with good heads) then the Eagle cast is an option. If you expect to exceed that figure at all, ever, I would go with a better crank like a K1.

I'm running almost 500 hp with my 408 using a cast Eagle crank spinning up to about 5,500. No malory needed to internal balance.

should be 450-475hp. around there. my older 360 was right there.. cast crank and factory rods. never had a problem. i doubt itll see 6500rpm ever. probly not even 6000. well except for the floggings at the track.
