Can someone help me with some specs on a set of carter afbs on a 68 426. The front carb is dumping fuel bad. Hydro locked motor cranking. The floats are way off. What is the closed height and open or drop on the float. Thanks any help greatly appreciated.

I can't specifically give you the 68 specs, but this is what I have.
1967 Front:
Float Setting - 5/16"
Float Drop - 3/4"
1967 Rear:
Float Setting - 7/32"
Float Drop - 3/4"
1968 - All
Float Setting - 7/32"
Float Drop - 3/4"

Sorry, I mis-typed 68 should have been 69. Personally, I would follow the numbers for 1969 and you will certainly be in the ball park.
It is possible that you have a leaky float also.
