Who makes the best 8¾ gears...Motive, Yukon, Richmond?

Need to get a new 3.55 ring & pinion for my "489" case 8¾ rear.
Summit Racing lists Richmond ($226), Motive ($200) & Strange Engineering ($210)
I have seen Yukon listed elsewhere for around $225 as well.

Whos gears are quietest for a street driven car?

I believe Doc once stated that most gears are actually made by Motive.

Yeah I have an email out to Cass (the good doctor) but no reply as of yet.....

Yes, Motive Gears are often re-labeled under other brand names.

I stock US Gears (USA) and Motive Gears (Italy). Lately, US Gears have been very consistent. There is also a Korean 3.55 gear that is very good, which I also handle on occasion.
