Rear disc has parking brake tied into caliper. How do you compress caliper piston? Usual method doesnt work...
Oh and I really enjoyed caliper bolts: bigger than 11/16, smaller than 3/4, and not metric either. 23/32? 17.5mm? Thanks DC!

The pistons need rotated clockwise while pushing in. The bolt head on the caliper mount is 18mm. Just did one this morning.

Thanks for reply.
Bolt head is swimming in 18mm box wrench or 6 point socket(?) Doesnt seem right to me.
Rotating piston while pushing? will be a chore to get caliper off disc since there is a ridge...
Geez, disc brakes were always so easy...

I used a 6 point 18mm socket. Maybe your wrench is worn. Take the caliper off the caliper mount first then remove the mount then the rotor. Will need a special tool to push the caliper piston back in. Should be avalible at for loan at the local parts store.

Picture worth a thousand words. I was afraid there was a special tool for that.
Thanks for great reply.
