(1) need fire @ the "ign" terminal on the starter relay when you turn the key to start (ign2). (2) the "grn" terminal close to it on the same starter relay needs to be grounded when the trans is in park or neutral. need a jumper wire w alligator clips on each end to check (2) and a helper turning the key to "start" as you check for fire w a test light or VOM for (1).

Take a screw driver and arch between the terminals on the starter relay or on the starter solenoid and see what happens.Make sure that the neutral starter switch wire is hooked up.

It is a 1968 4 Speed Car , everything worked last week , so the only thing I think might be bad is the Battery has a bad cell and when a load is put on the Battery it does not have enough volts / amps to start unless the starter solenoid decided to go bad , I will check all the suggestions , thanks.

In that case make sure that the battery has a good charge and the connections at the battery posts are shiny clean. Remove the cables and scrape both the posts and the cables clean and make sure that they are good and tight

You don't have nss, I would check for 12 volts at the yellow wire on starter relay, when the key is turned to start.

That was my next Question , when did Chrysler Products start using them on Manual Trans Cars?

Go into the car and put your clutch in and the transmission in Reverse.

Some had a neutral clutch switch but memory escapes me which ones.

68 does not have it, I believe the 70 model year started with the clutch switches. Maybe even 71.

make sure the starter wire hasn't slightly lodged out of the connection block at the firewall. I just had this happen to me.
