68 Roadrunner VS 68 Coronet -
the length of the quarter panel from the leading edge of the rear wheel to the end of the sheet metal; whose is longer and what are the lengths?
Or maybe a better measurement would be from the bottom edge of the rear glass to the end of the trunk lid....?

The Coronet appears longer to me - is it just the design then that gives it that effect?
I didn't realize the wheelbase on the Plymout is shorter, which makes sense as the Plymouth derivatives are typically shorter. 117 vs. 116. Also, the area in front of the rear wheels seems to be the area where the wheelbase changes take place...

Okay - I figured out a way to compare them. I guess its just all in the design - I think the Coronet 1/4 looks longer from the wheel to the bumper but apparently they're the same...

There built on the same floor pan. They use all the same inner sheet metal except outer wheel houses. There the same floors, cowl inner front fenders, trunk floor. There basicly the same. Coronet has a wider wheel well you can put a wider tire. They use the same doors and roof's.
