Here's three pictures, the first Spacer in the black square is 1/2",in the yellow is 1/4",in the blue is 1 1/2".

The second shows why I had to pie cut the swing arm to tighten the radius.

It is still a touch to far forward but never had an issue after 8,000 miles. The flat front of the Eddy head is the issue

Is this a Denso alt. that uses the round 3 wire pigtail plug-in?

I will mark this to favs and use for a referance later...

the alt I have is ext reg and has the double ears as the pivot point

did you drill a hole in the one bracket for the swing arm?

on mine with brackets it on the long lower wp bolt

but I am using the template of the one in the archives that you print out and is correct size

better brush up on how to wire a int reg alt up on my 85 truck while I am at it

Yes it is the Toyota 4runner Alt. with the round plug, I used female spade connectors.

No I didn't have to drill any holes in the triangle bracket piece. Just modified the swingarm a small amount.

This toyota alt and the late model unit in a 92 dodge truck should be the same right?

no

the late model truck should have the external regulator and use the stock one on you truck

the toyo is a internal reg and needs wires added and mods to work



it was pics on a sb..looking at the spacers that was used to space it out

I think it will flip over and bolt up with stock non a/c sb pullys

I was going that way for the sb and never got another mini alt yet or finished the brackets

just did the mini starter and alt on the 440 truck
