a what? you mean the transmission cross member?

there is nothing different on an AAR trans bracket than any other e body

Re: lower torque arm transmission bracket for AAR - 01/31/10 05:08 PM

not the trans cross member, the small bracket that has two bolts and bolts to the tail section to hold the lower torque shaft that comes thru the floor to hold in place the lower shift linkage i have 3 SB trans and all 3 have different brackets.

no, the rectangular piece under the car. kinda bent. has two studs on one end that bolt to the transmission. the other end has a hole with a grommet in it. the verticle shift lever rod gotes into it. you know the rod that goes from the piece you showed that goes thru the tunnel

Now that you have the picture you asked for.

Sounds like you need a measurement to see which of the 3 bracket is for an E-body.

The one Jeff posted is typically used on B & E bodies... The one in the factory drawing while the shifter is obviously 71-73 B & E the bracket is bent like a C body style part...
