5.2 magnum bypass a/c compressor

I have my a/c compressor removed on my 5.2L 99 Ram and one of those bolt-in pulleys to replace it.
The china bearings are starting to squeal.

On a previous thread someone mentioned using a shorter 6-rib belt, but no spec on length.

I also found mention on another site of using a
7-rib 90 5/8" length belt.
Can anyone confirm this length?

Check the dealer parts list. They made a dummy pulley that bolted in place of the ac comp for a no ac truck.Check from 92 up.

I have a dummy pulley on it... I'd rather eliminate that altogether and just use a shorter belt if possible.

Sorry I missed that.I doubt the wrap will be correct without the dummy.We only ran ac or dummy.

Go over to the dakotart list and post your question, someone there will know the belt size. I run the 6 rib and would look for you but the truck is burried under covers and snow right now.
